The Story Behind InvestPal

I am not a finance professional. I don't have a CA degree, I've never worked in a bank, and for most of my life, "mutual funds sahi hai" was just a TV ad.

At some point, I realised that the money sitting in my savings account was quietly losing value to inflation every year. I knew I needed to do something. But every time I tried to learn about investing, I'd hit a wall — jargon-heavy articles, "expert" advice I couldn't verify, and a general sense that this world wasn't meant for people like me.

So I decided to figure it out myself. And write about it as I go.

InvestPal is that journey, made public. Every article I write here is something I genuinely researched, wrestled with, and tried to understand. When something confused me, I dug deeper until it clicked — and then wrote about it in the simplest way I could.

I write for two kinds of readers: young professionals in their 20s and early 30s who are just starting out and want to build good habits early. And people in their 35–50s who have income, complexity, and not enough time — who need clarity, not more noise.

There's no hidden agenda here. No commission on recommendations. No "top 10 funds" listicles written for SEO. Just honest, researched writing from someone who's learning alongside you.

"A pal who learns alongside you, explains things honestly, and never makes you feel stupid for not knowing — that's what InvestPal is trying to be."

The plan is to grow this into a full resource — blog, calculators, eventually mutual fund distribution and financial advisory — all built on the foundation of trust earned through honest content.

Thanks for being here early. It means a lot.
